Beyond the Scapegoat
Sandor Goodheart and Andre Rabe on the Prophetic Law & the Joseph Story
In this deep-dive conversation, Professor Sandor Goodheart and Andre Rabe explore the "Prophetic Law"—a revolutionary breakthrough in ancient Hebrew thought that dismantled the cycle of sacrificial violence. Drawing from his seminal work, The Prophetic Law, Goodheart reinterprets the story of Joseph not just as a family drama, but as a transformative "text of demystification" that reveals the hidden mechanisms of the scapegoat. Discover how an ancient story offers a radical blueprint for ethical responsibility and reconciliation.

Andre & Mary-Ann, Thank you so much for the “opportunity “ to look back again and see more (possibilities) from my journey with you in Mimesis Academy. This Substack is beautiful beyond measure. What I see and yet the unseen in the road traveled guides into the astonishing depths of what will be by the gift of freedom to choose what will come…a consuming fire 🔥 or a fiery burning eternal invitation 🔥 💕 🔥! What was 🧠, is 🧠, & is to come🤗💕! Jesus tells us there is only one teacher 😉😃. Aways present…..
I did open Sandor’s book again to reread my notes to see what I saw. There was so much more opening up in this stream. Grateful I am!
Fully equipped we are.

Is this an example of Girard teaching used as diagnosis? And maybe also seen as prophetic by some?
